I am a firm believer in the power of adventure. What does that mean? Adventure has been defined as "a bold, usually exciting, undertaking with an uncertain outcome" by my good friend, Pinterest, during a search I did less than a minute ago. From bold experiences, we gain something we were missing before the adventure. Sometimes it's food (I'll be going on an adventure to forage for food here in a bit, as most broke college students do at the end of their semesters), sometimes it's friends (I always seem to meet new people wherever I go--it's a big world out there!), and sometimes it's first aid (Disclaimer: I am not saying we need get hurt in order to have adventures! No, never. Just that sometimes, when you're putting your rental bike away after biking the Virginia Creeper Trail and are turning around in exhilaration after riding for hours on the most beautiful trail ever, you may run into a water heater, followed by a fence, and scratch up/bruise your leg. Accidents happen.).
